WHAT IS EBD?
EBD stands for ‘Every Biker’s Dream’.
A Café where Bikers, Bike Enthusiasts and pretty much everyone else can enjoy the choicest of delicacies in an incredibly relaxed ambience and where superbikes are part of the decor.
EBD Cafe is also India's first physical marketplace where superbike owners get to park their bikes in the Cafés platform to be showcased to genuine buyers from passionate biking communities.
EBD Café seeks to become a community hub for bikers a place where bikers make connections with other bikers, discuss their bikes, plan rides and join riding groups or form their own.
It is the manifestation of our deepest passions—a tribute to the open road and the perfect roast.

FROM BUSY BITES
TO EBD
The roots of EBD reach back to ‘Busy Bites’, a multi-cuisine restaurant run by the founder's parents in Egmore (1988–2000). Learning the basics of restaurant management in his school days, the founder always carried a resolve to revive the legacy. Combining a deep interest in the food business with a lifelong passion for motorcycling, EBD Café was born—Chennai’s first Superbike Café and India’s first to offer a Park ‘n’ Sell platform.
A DECADE IN
THE MAKING
The vision for a dedicated Biker's Café first ignited in 2010. While financial constraints delayed the initial launch, the idea was meticulously refined over a decade. Observing the rise of Moto Cafes in New Zealand and the UK fueled our resolve to bring this unique culture to India. Today, EBD stands as the manifestation of that ten-year pursuit of precision and passion.
Mission
Our mission is to fuel the passion for riding by providing a vibrant COMMUNITY HUB where superbike enthusiasts can gather for delicious food and great coffee, securely showcase their machines and seamlessly buy or sell elite motorcycles at market prices in an immersive, high-octane environment.
Vision
A nation-wide brand that identifies with superbike owners as well as superbike communities as their go to place for great food, excellent coffee, attractive riding merchandise and fantastic superbikes that they can trade with other enthusiasts via this platform.
Tactical Milestones
First branch of EBD Café launched at ECR, Chennai.
Chairman of Yamaha India Mr. Jim Aota visits EBD Café, Chennai.
EBD Café’s first riding group - Ride Ritual conducts its call for registrations at EBD Café (36 riders).

JAIKANTH SHANMUGAM
Jaikanth Shanmugam, the Founder of EBD Café, is a hardcore biker, automobile enthusiast, and foodie who left a 28-year corporate peak to manifest a decade-long dream into creating Chennai's first superbike sanctuary.
